Lars Martin Vik

Ever since the beginning of his jazz studies at the conservatory in Trondheim, throughout his studies and professional work as a bass player having had numerous sideman gigs, Lars Martin Vik has been composing and preparing his own material which is now finally presented in the form of the album "Växthus". This music is part jazz, part a nordic variation of americana and gospel music. All instrumental, recorded as an acoustic Jazz quartet, enhanced by subtle old-school production techniques.
