About メレ
メレ (Mele) is a two-piece indie rock group based in Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed on April 28, 2018. The duo consists of Haruka Shiraishi (bass, chorus, songwriting, composition) and Iori Nakamura (songwriting, guitar, composition). Shiraishi and Nakamura first met at Hino High School, the same school attended by the renowned musician Kiyoshiro Imawano. While Shiraishi was already a member of the band Regal Lily, she expressed her desire to leave for undisclosed reasons.
