Māris Butlers

Māris Butlers is a Latvian avant-garde guitarist and composer from Rīga, Latvia. Most of his collaborations have been instrumental, and are generally improvised and noise based. In late 2012, the debut album Ring-100 was released as a limited edition cassette on Shecock Barracuda Recordings. That goes out with mellow touch of abstract electronic collages, distorted black drone passages and rural attitude. Along with his solo career, Māris Butlers is a member of an experimental band 1/2H 1/2W and a dub project Dubna.
