About ザ・ルースターズ
(1979-1988) ザ・ルースターズ (The Roosters)/(The Roosterz) was a legendary Japanese rock band. The group had a unique sound which blended elements of rock'n'roll, blues rock, gothic rock, post-punk, new wave and folk. They formed in Hakata, Fukuoka. The only regular member throughout the lineup changes was guitarist Hanada Hiroyuki. The main composer for The Roosters's first three albums was singer Shinya Ohe, although their later albums would be composed by the remaining Roosters members.
