About Barrel House Annie
Barrel House Annie was an obscure female pioneer of blatanty sexual metaphors within pre-war Chicago blues music. With a strong elastic voice, her best known songs (her material is rare) are "If It Don't Fit (Don't Force It)", "Ain't Gonna Give It Away", "Must Get Mine In Front" and "Love Operation", believed to have been recorded in 1937.
