About Unkindness Of Ravens
UnKindness Of Ravens (UKOR) is a group that experiments with new sounds, improvisation, and the creative exposition. UnKindness Of Ravens was formed in 1991 in California but is mostly based in Montréal, QC, Canada and Austin TX, USA. It was intended to be an experiment with unconventional sound construction. While the ensemble uses some traditional instrumentation, the bulk of its sound comes from self-constructed instruments -- often created much like its music, in surreal automatic style shifting as the course of play dictates.
