“Hustlaz Make It Happen”Is more than just the title of M.A.V’s (pronounced Mav) first two mix tapes (volume 1 and 2 respectively) it’s a way of life. Born in Racine, WI, young M.A.V grew up during the “Golden Age” of Hip Hop. Finding himself drawn to such ground breaking and influential artists as Run DMC, LL Cool J and NWA. Both the music and the image that those artists and artists like them presented gave him not only a way to vent his frustrations but also inspiration to start writing rhymes of his own.
