MELZ

The Cambridge MA native, Jahmel "Melz" McClamy is one of the fastest rising independent artists coming out New England. By the age of eight, Melz had already began writing verses containing lyrics above the standard eight-year-old's vocabulary and way more explicit. MELZ has come along way from The Coast neighborhood of Cambridge. After realizing rapping was his god given talent around the age of 12, he decided to use this hobby an escape route from the struggle Cambridge's overlooked urban setting brings to many of its inner city youth.
