Shahjahan Munshi

Visually disabled bluesy folk singer and songwriter – has composed several songs in the folk tradition himself Plays dotara and sarod Has regularly performed in Manikganj all his life but his presence in the more established urban music circuit has been since the early 80s. The last 2 major appearances were at Dhaka's AMPFUSION concert series under the aegis of BATB (British American Tobacco Bangladesh) where he performed with a full band backing and his blues-rock rendition of traditional folk was highly appreciated.
