Jitka Šuranská

Jitka Šuranská (1978 - 28 October 2019) was a Czech violinist and singer. She came from Kudlovice in Uherské Hradiště and grew up surrounded by the folklore of Moravian Slovakia. She studied violin at the Brno Conservatory and described Professor Zdeněk Gola (from the Ostrava Institute for Art Studies) as her most important teacher. She was a member of The Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic.
