Willz was born Jamaal Williams on January 6, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia. Born into a family of musicians, Willz has always had a passion for music. At a young age, Willz and his mother moved from Atlanta to Charlottesville, Virginia. In Charlottesville, Willz became exposed to local rap groups such as Gotta Shot Entertainment and Va Dream team and desired to start making his own music.
