Adam z Wągrowca († August 27th, 1629) - Polish composer and organist, Cistercian monk in Wągrowiec (germ. Wongrowitz) closter. Was born in Margonin. Very famous of his time; he was invited to inspect a new organ in Gniezno Cathedral on March 17th, 1620. More than 20 his compositions for organ was found in the Samogitian tablature (ca. 1618) in Lithuania. Adam was the first who used a separate third staff for the organ pedalboard notation.
