Recens is the alias of Finnish DJ and producer Topias Rajala. He started making electronic music at the age of 12, gradually shaping a sound that leans into deep, emotional atmospheres and understated house grooves. His music is influenced by raw feeling and the northern environments he grew up in, often balancing intimacy with a sense of space and distance. Since his first live shows in 2021, Recens has performed across Finland, from underground clubs to larger festival stages.
