Unkown is a real artist name, it's an alias of Dutch hardcore producer Promo. Not to be confused with DJ Unknown, a happy hardcore producer. Usually a typo for Unknown, provided by autofill-scrobbler on Release-Topic (Orchard Enterprises) "lostwave" tracks.
