About Jaska Lukkarinen Trio
Drummer Jaska Lukkarinen formed his first own band, the Jaska Lukkarinen Trio, in 2005. This trio is known for its energetic live gigs and impressive ensemble work. In trio's music one can find diverse influences: the trio combines the rhythmics and the harmony of the American jazz tradition with the expression and sound of the European tradition. As a group, the saxophone trio creates different possibilities to vary their music with improvisation and compositions.
