Stefan Beyer

Composer of experimental contemporary music. Born in 1981 in Braunschweig, Germany. Lives and works in Berlin. Mostly works for acoustic instrumentations. Studies in composition and orchestration with Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf (Leipzig), Anders Hultqvist (Gothenburg). Important impulses from courses and encounters with Chaya Czernowin, Steven Kazuo Takasugi, Helmut Lachenmann. Founding member and chairman of arts group “forma Leipzig” since 2010.
