Trio Fattoruso

Montevideo, Uruguay. Many years have passed (nearly 50) since Antonio Fattoruso formed 'El Trio Fattoruso'. Playing an inverted bucket bass (using a broom as the neck, and a cord as the instrument's single string), Antonio drafted his two young sons, Hugo on piano and accordion, and Jorge on drums. This trio performed in street festivals, covering the wide variety of Uruguayan musical styles. Almost a half-century later, and the Fattoruso family now breaks new ground with Trio Fattoruso.
