Ricky Villanueva

Biography Ricardo Villanueva was born in Comerio on January 26, 1979. He started in the Puerto Rican trova in 1985, at the age of 6 years. In 1993, he founded together with his brother Eduardo and his father José Miguel Villanueva the Conjunto Agüeybaná. In 1997 he joined the Criollo Ensemble of the University of Puerto Rico as a troubadour and cuatro player. In the year 2000 he founds Rumba Caribe. A typical-tropical music group of which he is the principal conductor and vocalist.
