Władysław from Gielniów (also Ładysław Jan from Gielniów or Władysław (Ładysław) Gielniowczyk; born around 1440 in Gielniów near Przysucha , died on May 4 or 5 1505 in Warsaw) was a Polish medieval poet-singer. Władysław's literary legacy consists mainly of Latin and Polish religious songs. In Latin, he wrote, inter alia, the antiphon and epitaph of Szymon of Lipnica , autobiographical poem about entering the order, prayer to St. Bridget 's Church
