Ludovico Fogliano

Lodovico Fogliano (birth date unknown, about between 1470 and 1480 in Modena; died between 1538 and 1542, place of death unknown) was an Italian music theorist, composer, singer and humanist. Very little is known about his life. He was the younger brother of the Italian composer and organist Giacomo Fogliano. He was a member of the court chapel of Duke Ercole I. d'Este of Ferrera and in 1493 demonstrably singer in the Cathedral Choir of Modena. After Josquin Desprez took the position of court chapel master in Ferrera
