Kirszenbaum is like Nietzsche raised from the dead and brought up anew by a slavic shoegaze zombie nanny. This award-winning duo hailing from Krakow, Poland, combines a few unrelated musical worlds into one, dark postfolk slavic shoegaze soundscape. Drawing their inspiration from all sorts of literary figures, bands such as Junip or songwriters like Nick Cave, Kirszenbaum is on a constant trip from Tove Jansson to Friedrich Nietzsche and beyond - there and back again, in eternal return.
