Giani Lincan

The cimbalom player Giani Lincan was born to a well known Romanian family with long standing ties with gipsy music and its history. In 1971 at the age of five he received his first lesson on the cymbalom from his grandfather. In 1975, he was offered the exceptional opportunity to continue his cymbalom studies with the renowned Romanian cymbalom players Mitica Marinescu Ciuciu and Toni Iordache.
