From http://masalacism.bandcamp.com/ Kreole rap artist Mr. OK arrives with a cutting-edge, danceable sound drawing influences from the traditional music of Haiti (Kompa), rap and electronica. The new EP Men Mwen ("Here I Am") drops just in time for the heat waves of summer. After relocating from Port-au-Prince to Montréal in 2009, a chance encounter at a fundraiser for Haiti following the devastating earthquake early 2010 placed Mr.OK in line with producer Freeworm and the DJs of the popular radio show Masala.
