About Akiakane
Akiakane were a pop punk band from Chiba, Japan signed to the North American label Asian Man Records. Akiakane had a rise in popularity outside of Japan when they tried to organise the "Say Tes to Taiwan" festival in Tokyo. The festival proved to be a failure with more than 50 of the invited bands declining to participate due to the political stance that the festival was being used for.
