About Iradj Sahbai
Iradj Sahbai is a Franco-Iranian composer and conductor. Iradj Sahbai studied at the Conservatoire of Strasbourg and the Conservatoire of Paris, where he won a prize for composition in the class of Olivier Messaien. He also studied conducting and won first prize in the class of Jean Sebastian Bereau, then continued to perfect his technique with Pierre Derveau and Milan Horvat in Nice and in Salzburg. Living in the Strasbourg region, in 1986 he founded the Chamber Orchestra of Schiltigheim which he conducted regularly for eleven years
