Stūrī Zēvele is a Latvian alternative indie pop band known for its melodic, atmospheric sound and the integration of classic and contemporary Latvian poetry into its songwriting. Formed in 2006 in Kuldīga, Latvia, the group has evolved from a grassroots project at the Zabadaks non-commercial culture center into a staple of the Rīga independent music scene. The band's musical identity is defined by a blend of bedroom pop aesthetics, indie rock, and folk-inflected arrangements featuring flutes and dual vocal harmonies.
