Laid back soul and funk 8-piece from the UK, featuring Lisa Millett on vocals, along with Jimmy Le Messurier (drums), Pete Eckford (percussion), Simon Edwards (bass), Jonny Enright (trombone/ keyboards), Finn Peters (sax/flute/ keyboards), Olly Drew and Leon Stenning (guitars). Strayhorn's debut single, released August 24th 2009, is the first in a series of singles on Loft Records, featuring the tracks "Reach" and "Won't You Stay?".
