Modo

There have been several artists with this name: 1. A leading Latvian 1970s ensemble, formed by Raimonds Pauls in 1972, and from 1978 led by Zigmars Liepiņš. The group backed a number of local singers, including Viktors Lapčenoks, Nora Bumbiere, Mirdza Zīvere and Aija Kukule. Featured Liepiņš on keyboards and Vjacheslav Mitrokhin on guitar. 2. A 1990s Italian eurodance artist who is to be tagged as Mo-Do. 3. A UK born ambient artist. Debut: Modo - Small Hours, released early 2009.
