About Los Nacionales De Jacinto Gatica
Los Nacionales de Jacinto Gatica or Conjunto Jarocho "The National" was a group in the 60s and 70s from Mexico City. The first members were Jacinto Gatica (Veracruz, harp), born in Zamora, Michoacán who played in "el Conjunto Medellín" with Lino Chávez y Los Costeños, Salvador Torres (guitar) from San Juan del Rio, Queretaro and Raymundo Mendez (jarana) of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Jorge Vargas (guitar). They played in concerts, radio and television programs to become very popular.
