About Memória De Peixe
"Memória de Peixe" are Miguel NIcolau (guitar and loops) and Nuno Oliveira(drums), both from Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, a well known city by its own indie scene in the 90s. The band was formed in November 2010. The translated name in English is "Fish Memory". They use "live-looping" to create songs with short loops (around 8seconds), with multiple parts, to develop and create songs with structure and improvisation moments, instead of creating only one big overdubbing soundscape.
