BHT, also known as butylhydroxytoluene, is a fat-soluble organic compound used as an antioxidant food additive as well as an antioxidant in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, jet fuels, rubber, petroleum products, electrical transformer oil, and embalming fluid. Used in many foods since the 1950's, its been banned in many countries, but not the USA (except for infant food). It is thought today to be carcinogenic. These songs were recorded in '86 and '87.
