1. Alpha du Centaure is a shoegaze/post-rock band from France formed in 2015. 2. Alpha Du Centaure "Alpha Centauri" in English. This French fusion outfit was formed in Autumn 1973 by Jean-Pierre Richard and drummer Gilles Robert (at one time with Komintern), and went through numerous line-up changes during their 6+ year existence. They are only known to have released one album.
