1)Some six boys from Louisiana, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Texas, take a nod from Radiohead, Paul Simon, and Hope Sandoval in this deliciously short EP. Front man and lyricist, Jonny Clark, is a man of not-so-many words, as he waxes personal with his subtle sarcasm in “Sociao”(track 7) : “I am trying to get my own way/I’m making you see the perfect way I’ve found.” Shy, wry, and stupid sarcasm be damned, Comrade can still make you think long and hard.
