About Great Hare
Swedish indie band Great Hare traces their roots to the alt rock movement of the 90’s. when singer and guitarist Kalle Mogren fronted Mufflon 5 during three albums, national tours and Peel Sessions. After a long hiatus from music, the desire to marry noise with beautiful pop melodies came back. In 2010, four musician friends reconnected and turned an old loft into a recording studio. Naming ourselves after nocturnal encounters with wild hares, we turn up at nights looking for melodies that want to be turned into songs.
