About J. Pavone String Ensemble
The J. Pavone String Ensemble (sometimes listed as Jessica Pavone String Ensemble) is a string quartet founded by Jessica Pavone in NYC in 2017. Writing in Bandcamp's "The Best Contemporary Classical Albums of 2020," Peter Margasak notes that their music "digs deep into ringing harmonies and immersive overtones. This carves out expansive space to allow each member—fellow violist Abby Swidler and violinists Erica Dicker and Angela Morris—to adapt and collide individual lines.
