About Los Macuanos
In 2006, Felipe Calderón deployed thousands of troops to combat the most powerful drug cartels in Mexico. tijuana, like most tourist-laden cities in the north of the country, transformed into a war-zone. With body counts escalating into the hundreds, the town's nightlife soon dwindled. As panic-stricken party-goers abandoned the scene, its once booming rave culture became all but extinct. Los Macuanos, a trio comprised of Moises López, Moises Horta and Reuben Torres
