Lena Recollet

Lena Recollet was born in Toronto and raised in Wikwemikong, Ontario and both have influenced her music and poetry. She had mentorship opportunities with Digging Roots, Derrick Ross of Slaight Music and Buffy Sainte Marie. Her lyrics "I am powerful, bravery, ancestral truth, soul speaking Giigidaa" were written as a reminder of where to gather her strength. "I am Woman, Kwe" is set to release this April to iTunes, this is Lena's first full album.
