Valerio Sannicandro

Valerio Sannicandro was born in Italy on January 16th 1971. He studied Viola and Composition there and in 1995, after his Viola-degree, moved to Germany where he turned his attention more and more to contemporary music; got a post-graduate degree in Viola at the Folkwang Musikhochschule in Essen (with G.O.Roth) and attended master classes with Barbara Maurer and Garth Knox that inspired strongly his future work as new music performer.
