Misae Enomoto (March 13, 1924 – September 23, 1998) was a Japanese singer. She was known as a beautiful geisha singer. She became popular after the war. Born on March 13, 1924 (Taisho 13) in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. Due to her family's poverty, in 1934 (Showa 9), as a fifth-grader in elementary school, she was sent to work as an apprentice to the owner of the Tamaki-za, a small theater in Asakusa.
