Vladimir Djambazov

Vladimir Djambazov (born Sevlievo, Bulgaria, 28 October 1954) is a Bulgarian composer. He writes mainly electronic, electroacoustic and acousmatic music. He studied first at the Music academy in Sofia. Then he won a DAAD scholarship and graduated from the Folkwang Academy in Essen, Germany, having studied electronic music composition with Dirk Reith (ICEM) and horn with Hermann Baumann. Vladimir is probably the most important electroacoustic composer from the Bulgarian scene.
