About Nehilet Blackman
Nehilet is a seasoned artiste with a wealth of talent and experience. She’s a songbird since the age of four and composer since the age of six. A daughter of the late Ras Shorty I, the inventor of Soca and Jamoo music, Nehilet is presently a lead vocalist and musician for The Love Circle. She has performed with the band throughout the Caribbean, North America and Europe. This vibrant young lady sees her purpose as bringing light and joy to the world through her music.
