About Bodø Domkor
Bodø Domkor is the choir of Bodø Cathedral which is the main church in Sør-Hålogaland diocese and the largest church in the Norwegian town Bodø. It was founded in 1954, and since then has performed a wide range of choral music. One area is the performance of major works of church music, such as Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Verdi's requiem and masses by Haydn and Mozart. As a general rule, these works are performed annually, in recent years the beginning of Advent has been the time for such concerts.
