About Jang Pill Soon
장필순 (Jang, Pillsoon) is a veteran of the Korean music scene and has been making music since 1989. Her music is characterized by a voice often described as husky; unlike many female singers she prefers to sing in the lower register and applies an untrained, folk style voice to her music. Her early albums, recorded from the late eighties to the mid-nineties could almost be lost among Korean pop, but her third album 이 도시는 언제나 외로워 (This City is Always Lonely)
