Young K. Biography Young K has been recording studio music since he was 17 years old. He recorded his 1st studio song with a group called Smokas Playaz Hustlaz in 1997. He soon experienced some life changes in 1998. He and his group released an indie album called Midwest Gangsta recorded in Avanti studios in 1998. After that the group broke up when group members started having kids and getting jobs. Everyone in the group left the hip hop scene but except young K.
