About Mokhtar El Berkani
Mokhtar El Berkani is a Moroccan singer. He is known for being the first to sing the ‘Raggada’, which is both a traditional dance and a music genre of the Berber tribes from the province of Berkane, in Morocco. Native of Berkane, Mokhtar El Berkani, started his career in the beginning of the 1990’s. Curiously, the public knew his successful songs before discovering his face. In fact, his songs were commonly re-performed in Moroccan wedding ceremonies and private parties.
