The Elder Scrolls is a computer Action Adventure game series developed by Bethesda Softworks. It is often abbreviated TES. The four main Elder Scrolls games, Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion are known for their open-ended gameplay and their huge environments. The newest part of the Elder Scrolls series, Oblivion, was released in North America on March 20, 2006 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and soon to be released on the Playstation 3.
