Atlanta Native Shai Nowell brings a new twist to genre-defying music. Shai is an evolving singer, songwriter, producer, & director who has no intention to stop his creativity where it is. Growing up in San Antonio Texas and Savannah Georgia, Shai did not have any intention of being a musician throughout his childhood. Not until he discovered himself via music. Shai felt he was going through an identity crisis and he found himself through artist’s such as Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Miguel, and Kanye West.
