About Linda Fredriksson
Saxophone player Linda Fredriksson (b. 1985) stands out amongst the Finnish jazz artists, both locally and internationally. Fredriksson is best known from Superposition, Ricky-Tick Big Band and Mopo trio. Alongside with their bands, they have composed music for theatre, performance art, silent films and an exhibition as well as collaborated with artists like Timo Lassy, Raoul Björkenheim, Jimi Tenor and European Jazz Orchestra, to name a few. Fredriksson has studied at Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory and Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
