Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama (born Michelle LaVaughn Robinson) is a former First Lady of the United States, married to President Barack Obama. Michelle and Barack Obama have two daughters: Malia, age 12, and Sasha, age 9. She was born and raised in a working class neighborhood in South Side of Chicago. Her father, Fraser Robinson, was a pump operator for the Chicago Water Department. She moved through Chicago public schools and went on to study sociology and African-American studies at Princeton University.
