Krohnengen Brass Band

Krohnengen Brass Band was founded in 1969 by some enthusiastic members of Krohnengen Schoolband.When Allan Withington picked up the band in 1983 it started achieving serious results.The band first played in the champions section in 1987, and placed 1st only three years later with Karl Ole Midtbø conducting. This led Krohnengen Brass Band to the European Championship in 1991, where Helge Haukås conducted the band to a 6th place. Today the band has thirty- two active playing members
